A beautiful life. Thoughtfully curated.
Cathryn Curates is a lifestyle destination for beautiful spaces, thoughtful organization, elevated everyday living, and smarter choices.
I believe a beautiful life is not created by simply having more. It is shaped by paying attention—to what surrounds us, what supports us, what brings ease, and what genuinely deserves a place in our homes and lives.
Here, I research, consider, and curate with you.
From the small details that make a room feel more inviting to the systems that make a home easier to manage, the products worth investing in, and the everyday luxuries that make ordinary life feel special, everything begins with one question:
Is this truly worth choosing?
The Philosophy
Considered luxury.
Luxury does not have to mean excess.
To me, it can mean a beautifully made object you use every day. A home that functions well. A peaceful morning routine. A purchase researched carefully enough that you do not have to make it twice.
It is choosing quality where quality matters, saving confidently where it does not, and resisting the idea that a better life requires constantly buying more.
Cathryn Curates is built around a simpler philosophy:
Fewer, better, more beautiful choices.
That philosophy applies to interiors, organization, shopping, and the small rituals of everyday life.
Because thoughtful living is not about perfection.
It is about intention.

Worth the Upgrade?
Not everything deserves the premium version.
Worth the Upgrade? looks more closely at the purchases where materials, construction, comfort, performance, or longevity may genuinely justify spending more—and the places where they may not.
The goal is not to persuade you to spend.
It is to help you choose.

How I Curate
I am interested in the difference between something that merely looks appealing and something that is actually worth bringing into your life.
That means I consider more than aesthetics.
When researching a product, idea, or recommendation, I look at questions such as:
Is it useful?
Does it solve a real problem or meaningfully improve an everyday experience?
Is it well considered?
Do the materials, construction, features, or design make sense for how it will actually be used?
Is it worth the cost?
Does paying more deliver something meaningful—or are we simply paying for branding, novelty, or appearance?
Will it last?
When relevant, durability, maintenance, repairability, and replacement matter.
Is it beautiful?
Function comes first, but beauty matters too. The things we live with shape how our spaces feel.
Would I feel comfortable recommending that you consider it?
That final question matters most.
This is not about filling a website with products.
It is about making thoughtful choices easier.
A Note From Cathryn
I created Cathryn Curates from a genuine love of beautiful interiors, organized spaces, thoughtful research, and the details that make everyday life feel just a little better.
I also know how easy it has become to feel surrounded by recommendations.
There is always another must-have product. Another trend. Another list of things we are supposedly missing.
I wanted to create something quieter.
A place where we can look carefully, compare thoughtfully, appreciate beautiful things without believing we need all of them, and make choices with a little more confidence.
I will not always believe the most expensive option is the best one.
I will not assume a beautiful product is a useful one.
And I will not suggest that a well-lived life can simply be purchased.
Instead, I hope Cathryn Curates becomes a place you return to when you want to make your home more beautiful, bring more order to everyday life, research something before buying it, or simply discover an idea worth considering.
I research, consider, and curate with you.
Because a beautiful life is not about having everything.
It is about choosing what matters.
